In Memoriam: Mamady Doumbouya

A key inspiration behind the Jobomax concept, Mamady Doumbouya introduced his co-founders to Guinea in 2013 and advocated tirelessly for the opportunities the country offers. A long-timer leader of the Guinea diaspora community in Philadelphia, a US Air Force veteran, a father of three and a dedicated husband, founder of the US-Guinea Chamber of Commerce, and former President of the N'ko Institute, the intellectual and spiritual force behind the inclusion of N'ko in Unicode. Mamady recruited many of Jobomax's original local staff, and nurtured connections with diaspora communities around the world. Mamady passed away in July, 2018.
